The Fiat 124 Coupe was not an uncommon sight on UK roads in the 1970's but by the end of the 80's they had all but disappeared. This was due to the susceptability of these early Fiats to body corrosion. Surprisingly, worldwide, quite a number seem to have survived. Our example on offer here is a recent South African Import. Alas, unlike our usual SA imports, this vehicle is Left-Hand Drive, the owner having it shipped over to SA when he emigrated from Italy ☺
The car is a third series 124 Coupe and overall in lovely condition. The interior is particularly attractive. The underside and engine bay are very clean and rust free. There are a couple of localised rust areas on the upper body which need addressing. At some point the car has been resprayed in a non-original mid metallic blue but it has been executed in a professional manner.
Mechanically, the car is believed to be in good condition but will require servicing/recommissioning prior to use.
We will assist with UK registration and the car will be supplied with an age related number and classed as a historic vehicle qualifying for MOT/ULEZ Exemption and Free Road Tax.
