The 1970's Marina Pick Up is rare in the UK today as they were generally abused workhorses which ultimately promoted their demise due to corrosion.
South Africa comes to the rescue of maintaining the breed where they are called a Leyland Austin Marina. This example offers great potential with sound bodywork and underside. Latterly it has been running on Toyota mechanics with the engine now removed from the truck. An ideal opportunity for the restorer to revert back to standard issue BL engines such as the A or B series.
