A rare rustfree example of a once common 70's uk saloon. Recently imported from South Africa where the car is known confusingly as the Hillman Vogue. Confusing because we had a uk Hunter shape model called the Singer Vogue. The SA Vogue is similar in specification to the UK Hunter GL. Instead of featuring the long established Rootes 1725cc engine it uses the Peugeot 1800 unit.
The car is finished in a striking combination of deep red with white vinyl roof. It is on smart Rostyle rims similar to those used on the UK Hunter GLS. The car would lend itself to sympathetic upgrading to GLS specification and is supplied with a rare facia panel of 4 auxillary gauges as fitted to the GLS along with the rev counter.
