Very few of this legendary design remain now. An icon of the late 50's - early 60's Rock n Roll era featuring that extravagant transatlantic styling. Rust soon ate up our UK cars thus this example hails from the drier South African climate.
This is the original pre 1960's design classic, characteristic of the breed and not featuring the style cramping revisions of the series two.
Largely complete and with the 2600cc straight six engine, the car presents a doable but brave project. While the upper body is pretty sound, it requires extensive welding to the underside & sill areas. The car comes with a replacement windscreen and spare rear window.
Car will need UK registration at the DVLA but is supplied with Nova import certificate & SA logbook. Thus gaining an age related registration number will be merely a formality.
